We don’t know about our heroic past. Especially among women.
There were many great Armenian women, and I think the more we can find out about these women the better sense it will give us about our history.

Judith Saryan, a graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts, worked in the finance industry for years, and was extremely successful at her job. In recent years she has shifted her focus. Her passion for Armenian literary culture and history has manifested in her work with the Armenian International Women’s Association. Inspired by the writings of Zabel Yesayan, Judith has been instrumental in translating three of Yesayan’s books: My Soul in Exile, In The Ruins, and The Gardens of Silihdar. Judith wanted to share Yesayan’s work with the world, and so she did something about it. Her message to the women of Armenia? Use your voice.
