Our Story

ONEArmenia, or 1A for short, began in 2012 with a simple idea: unite individuals around the world who recognize Armenia’s potential, and build a thriving country by funding sustainable projects with radical transparency at the heart of it all.

There has long been skepticism around donating money to projects in Armenia. Our commitment to radical transparency has helped break this skepticism, with over $7 million raised by people like you all over the world, to support 35 local projects with long lasting impact. After a decade in Armenia’s nonprofit sector, we’ve developed a reputation for top-notch operating standards, quality design and content, and consistent impact measurement and reporting.

Now, with our values and community still at our core, we’re focused on developing Armenia’s travel sector by incubating extraordinary travel experiences that positively contribute to rural communities.
