SHIFT:Tech Mobile App Crowdsourcing Competition

In the fall of 2013, 1A announced SHIFT:Tech, a crowdsourcing competition looking to seed an innovative mobile app idea with $25,000 to develop its first version in Armenia. The winning project, officially called LEGACY (TM), is currently in the design stage and will be developed throughout the fall for a tentative early 2015 release. This was the second installment of the SHIFT Initiative, started in spring 2013 to seize opportunities for innovation in Armenia. It’s based on the global ONEArmenia community’s conviction that Armenia’s potential for educational, humanitarian, environmental and cultural dynamism is limitless.
